Idlewild Surprise!

Jim decided to surprise the girls with a trip to Idlewild today. Unfortunately we didn't have discounts or coupons but the smiles on Katie and Felicity's faces made it worth every penny. Katie did think the surprise was a new puppy.

The only time we have been to Idlewild has been for Hallowboo. The splash park is closed during Hallowboo and unfortunately today it was closed because of the cold weather.

Felicity and I spent time together in Raccoon Lagoon. We also rode the ferris wheel, merry go round, and umbrellas. Some of the rides Katie rode with her dad were the rollocoaster and the caterpillar. I remembered riding the caterpillar at Kennywood and it was my favorite. Katie said her favorite part was the fan blowing air on her and that was my favorite thing too!

We are going back to Idlewild next month for Hallowboo!
