April Fools Day!

Today we had a great time spending the morning at our house with our friends. We had a playdate called I Pity the Fool. Everyone was asked to dress up silly, bring a fun toy and snack.

The weather was gorgeous today! The temperature reached around 83 degrees. The girls played while I removed tree branches outside. Katie and Felicity also had fun picking the daffodils along our house.

Katie had gymnastics tonight and she only has a couple weeks left. We decided to take a break from activities this summer except for a day camp at the Carnegie Science Center for Katie. It is called Outer Space.

Tonight Jim brought out the telescope and showed Katie different constellations. We have an application on our phone called Google Sky. It shows all of the planets, stars, constellations all around our home. I can't wait to go star gazing this summer where there aren't any lights around.

Tomorrow we are going to see the Stanley Cup and I am so excited. We saw it when we went to Toronto 9 years ago at the Hockey Hall of Fame but it will be great seeing it in Pittsburgh. Grandma is going with us as well as Flat Jordan. My friend Jessie's son Jordan sent a cut out of himself. We are going to take Flat Jordan around the area, take pictures, and write down the greatness of our city.
