Rough Day

I didn't think today would ever end. I woke up in a great mood then it went downhill.
I called ATT about the Blue Tooth Ear Piece that doesn't work for Jim. He called them two times before about sending it back. They were to send out a sticker for the return, no sticker after two calls. I spent 45 minutes on the phone, transferred 5 times, the sixth person wanted to transfer me again and I lost it. I asked the customer rep how he would feel if he were in my shoes. His reply, Not very good ma'am. He told me the sticker takes 7-10 business days, Monday would be the 10th day. It better come!
Katie was a bit out of control today. She was hitting me, throwing her toys at me, ignoring me. Yes, typical two year old behavior. She spent a lot of time in the corner today.
I did feel bad for her when we were supposed to pick up my sister in law from work. I got the girls stuff together, we were going to be on time, get to the truck, Katie's car seat was gone. It was still in Jim's car from Sunday.
Katie finally calmed down, she fell asleep for the night. LOL
Felicity had a rough day as well. Every time she fell asleep, Katie would bang her toys against the wall or start screaming. Poor Felicity didn't get any rest until late afternoon when my aunt showed up for a visit. Sorry Aunt Honey and Penny!
Tomorrow Katie is going to Grammy's house. God Bless You Grammy! Hope she isn't a stinker for you like she was for me today.
These pictures I took tonight did bring a smile to my face! I wish I had a better day with Katie.

Patti,

Sorry you're going through a rough patch. I know exactly how you feel! Christian has been hitting me a lot lately. I guess he's frustrated by the move and he doesn't know how to express that. I remember Julian went through a tantrum-ish phase that lasted a LONG LONG time. Now at age 4 he's pretty tantrum-free (oh, except when he wakes up cranky for some reason). You'll get through it!

Oh, and about being put on hold, it's awful. I had to be on the phone for NINETY minutes with Vonage. They have notoriously bad customer service. I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau web site and saw they have THOUSANDS of complaints against them. I finally found a number online for the "executive response team" and was able to get my problem resolved through them. Customer service is really lacking at all the big phone companies.

Wow, your kids are so cute!

Seriously, though... I am sorry I can't be there to take some of that from you. I guess being at work has *some* positives!

Mary,
We had a HUGE problem with Vonage when we tried to cancel their service. Jim called to terminate the service but was told they couldn't prorate the billing. We got billed again the following month. He called them again and said the service should have been canceled. They basically said tough luck, even a manager was unmoved. He even asked Jim if he waived the monthly fee if he would come back! I called our credit card company about disputing the charge and they said we need to contact the attorney general about it. They had so many complaints about Vonage.
