Felicity is a girl who has her eye on fashion. She loves wearing different clothes. If she doesn't have a veil, she will make one out of a tea towel or drapes. She started wearing clip on earrings but they don't really stay on very well. Aunt Kristen bought her a pair at the jewelry store and Felicity wore them everywhere. She asked me last Thursday if she could get the real thing.
I took her to the mall and she picked out the starter earrings. She picked a diamond stud which was no surprise. The diamond is April's birthstone. Two ladies helped mark her ears where the earrings would go. Felicity looked a little nervous but had a smile on her face. After the earrings were put in, Felicity told the ladies in a timid voice, "thank you." She looked at me and said "Let's Go!" We went to the play area afterwards and she showed off her earrings to anyone who would look.
Awesome job Felicity. I am sure the sparkly, more expensive earrings will be on your Christmas list.
