Meet the Teacher and Story Time

Today Katie met her 1st grade teacher, Miss S. Katie quickly corrected her teacher that her name is Katie not Katherine. She also corrected another student's name for her teacher. Katie was very excited to some of her former kindergarten classmates in her class. I think this year is going to be an awesome year for her.

We went to Barnes & Noble afterwards. They were having a I Am Going to Preschool story time. Felicity heard two stories, enjoyed a cookies and cream frappacino (sp?) and painted a picture of a girl going to school. Katie decided to read a Garfield comic strip book during the story time.

The girls are so excited for the new school and I know September 6th will be here before I know it.
