Fun Filled Week!

What a fun time the girls and I had this week.

Monday

Katie was supposed to ride in the preschool's Road Rally but the cold and rain prevented the event. It was delayed until Wednesday. Katie was still excited to go to school and see her friends!

Tuesday

We met our friends from our moms' group, BFF, at Chick Fil A. I love that restaurant and so do the girls. Unfortunately it is flu season and Felicity got the flu mist and Katie got the flu shot. Her cardiac issue prevents her from having the mist. Katie handled the shot like a champ!

Wednesday

We had our first sleep over at Grandma and Grandpap's house. They have a queen size blow up mattress and the three of us attempted to sleep on it. I ended up on the couch and Felicity ended up on the floor. Grandma made a delicious roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans for dinner.

Thursday

Grandma made us her world famous pancakes for breakfast. Katie ate half of the pancake and I think she would have had more if she didn't eat 3 pieces of bacon.

Our BFF group had a tour of Heinz Field and Grandma came with us. She wore her Heath Miller shirt and Katie and I wore Hines Ward. Katie and Felicity were very well behaved and Katie made a new friend on the tour. Grandma bought lunch at Eat N Park at the Waterfront. I couldn't believe how much Katie ate off the salad bar.

Katie went to gymnastics in the evening and I still have no idea how she had the energy to do the balance beam, floor, and uneven bars. Katie and Felicity didn't fall asleep at Grandma's until 10:30pm and were up at 7am.

Friday

Katie's preschool finally had the Road Rally. Katie completed 13 laps and made $60 for the new preschool bathrooms. Poor Katie's knees were bumping into her handle bars so it looks like Santa might bring Katie a new bike this Christmas.

Katie was also very excited to bring a snack into her class. Part of the snack bag is the book containing pictures and biography of the teachers and students in Katie's class. I must have read over the profiles 20 plus times for her. She really enjoys going to preschool.

Felicity had her first class, Mommy and Me, at CCAC. We couldn't stay for the whole class since Katie's Road Rally was at 10:45am. Felicity really enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing games with her new classmates.
