I know I am really behind on my blog but life has been a bit busy for us. About 3 weeks ago we added a new member to our family. His name is Nico and we got him from a local animal shelter. We were thinking about getting a pure bred lab again but decided to give a dog needing a home a chance. He is a lab/boxer mix around 3 months old. He was one of 8 in the litter. We were considering getting Nico and his brother but the shelter doesn't allow this type of adoption. I was chasing Felicity around and didn't catch the reason. I was relieved that we have just one pup since house training one is hard enough. Nico's name originally was Loaf. Yes, Loaf. Maybe the creative juices weren't flowing in the name department at the shelter. I have been having a hard time bonding with the little guy but it is getting better. I still miss my Murphey but he will always be in my heart and thoughts.
