Back to Blogging in the New Year

I haven't kept up with my blog since the Sleeping Beauty outing two seasons ago. I am going to make a real effort to post more. There are so many things I can't remember from just yesterday let alone from months ago. I want Katie and Felicity to have this site to remember fun and memorable times.

Katie does have an excellent memory. She wanted to have family members over for New Year's Eve like last year. Jim said I don't really remember anyone being over last year but Katie reminded him. She told daddy about Grammy, Pappy, and Aunt Kristen playing Wii, sitting on the floor, watching Up, and the claws. What are the claws you ask? Jim bought crabs for our dinner last year and Katie played with their claws.

Katie is doing great in Kindergarten. Her teacher said wonderful things about Katie at the parent teacher conference. One thing that stood out: Katie is quiet. Wow you can never think that if you come to our house!

Katie will be learning how to play hockey starting January 20th. We signed her up the Sidney Crosby Little Penguins Learn How to Play Hockey program. All of her equipment is free, we just have to pay for the lessons, mouth guard, pelvic protection, and socks. She is so excited to learn how to play.

Felicity is learning new things each day especially the art of accessories. She is going on the potty more and think we will have a potty training break through any day. She loves taking dance classes and will have her recital in the spring.

We had a very blessed Christmas and our relatives went above and beyond this year with gifts. Katie's favorite gifts were her Magic Tree House books and Nitendo DS. Felicity loves all of her dress up clothes and puzzles.
