Katie and I walked the Race for the Cure on Mother's Day. I wasn't sure how it would go considering the walk started at 8:45 and I am not a really good morning person. Also Katie doesn't like mornings either.
It turned out great. We were running a little late getting to the park and a lot of the access points were blocked off for the running part of the race. We ended up being about 1/4 mile away from the starting point and Katie was very excited to walk.
We didn't finish the race since we still had to walk to the car and Katie was really tired. Katie did tell me she wants to run the race next year.
Mother's Day was a very nice day. We met Jim's parents and Kristen at Fathead's. Afterwards, we went over to my parents' house.
I had such a great day but was so looking forward to bedtime!
